Suzanne E. Robertazzi is an Adult Health Nurse Practitioner (APRN, BC) based in Washington, DC, specializing in liver transplantation and hepatology. She practices at the Washington DC VA Medical Center, one of seven VA liver transplant centers. The DC VA partners with Medstar Georgetown University Transplant Institute where Ms. Robertazzi worked for 12 years before moving to the VA. She serves as the Clinical Program Director for Transplant and the DC VA.

With over 17 years of experience in advanced nursing practice, Suzanne holds a Doctorate from George Washington University earned in 2022. Her clinical expertise encompasses the management of end-stage liver disease and post-transplant care. She has co-authored peer-reviewed research on hepatitis C treatment in simultaneous liver–kidney transplant recipients, demonstrating the safety and efficacy of direct-acting antiviral regimens in this patient population and recently looking at how the creation of a new VA Transplant center increased access and reduced waitlist time for liver transplant.

Suzanne is also a member of ATC, AASLD and serves on the Member Engagement and Communications Committee for. GHAPP.
